One of our experienced project managers will contact you to set up a meeting to discuss all of your project goals and expectations.
If you have construction documents prepared already, we will provide you with a free detailed construction estimate following the meeting. If the initial cost is beyond your budget, we will work with you to provide value engineering ideas that meet your budget and project expectations.
If you do not have a set of drawings, we will provide you with a design estimate, to provide a set of construction documents that will bring your ideas to fruition, while at the same time making sure to stay within your construction budget.
From start to finish, our experienced design team will work with you to make your ideas become a reality. Trained in both architecture and interior design our team has the ability to design a home in any style. Prior to starting the design work one of our designers and a project manager will meet with you to discuss your goals and expectations. Once the scope of the project is established, we will provide you with a free Design Estimate for creating a set of construction documents. These drawings will be used to submit for a building permit.
The design work is broken down into two phases- schematic design and design development. During the schematic design phase two to three rough designs of floor plans and overall massing will be proposed. During the design development phase a finalized design will be proposed with room sizes, window and door locations, etc. Following client approval we will start a construction document set, working with engineers when applicable to ensure a drawing set sufficient to obtain a building permit, historic certificate of appropriateness, or a zoning variance if necessary.
We also offer the following services:
3 Dimensional Design
If you would like to further envision the design we have the ability to generate it into a 3D model, providing you with both interior and exterior perspectives. In doing so, you can get a better idea of how the different spaces relate to each other, see how natural and artificial light will fall in your new space, how different architectural elements will look, see different materials blend together, and much more.
Our in-house interior designer will work closely with you to choose furniture, finishes, and fixtures that meet your taste level and work with-in the budget of your project. During the process JPS will manage selecting, designing, and purchasing custom and retail products including: upholstered furniture, case pieces, cabinetry and vanities, window treatments, area rugs, accessories, hardware and fixtures, lighting, and artwork, to help customize your space.
